Give me enough time and Ill eventually stumble over the solution.;-).I recently upgraded to Quicken 2017 Home and Business (from 2015 HB) and the print font for reports are so small that they are illegible.Regardless of the printer driver selected, the print section of the page is only 20-25 of the entire page.
The margins are set for.5 inch all around but the report page covers less than 25 of the 8.5 X 11 standard page. Even when I attempt to scale the page up to 200 percent, the small font increases in size but will not expand beyond the 20-25 percent of the upper left of the page (and the font is still illegible). What has happened between Quicken 2015 and Quciken 2017 that has destroyed the printability of the reports. This is one of many gliches in the 2017 version, but this is one I have not been able to work around. Very disappointed with the Quicken product line and I have been a user for two decades. If your printer is set to auto-detect the loaded paper it may think you have a small sheet of paper loaded instead of 8.511 (or something to that effect). Change your printer driver to always default to 8.511 standard paper. Also check to see if you have the latest printer driver installed for your printer and the version of Windows that you are running. Check on the printer manufacturers website for driver updates. Can You Printer Tax Reports In Quicken 2017 Drivers Including ThreeThis anomaly occurs with all my printer drivers including three different pdf printer drivers. Can You Printer Tax Reports In Quicken 2017 Windows 10 If ThatMy hardware is an HP Envy 15 notebook running Windows 10 if that helps. Its new and I think either the HP video (3840 X 2160) or Windows 10 may be a factor as I had no desire to upgrade Quicken 2015 HB, but couldnt operate 2015 because the screen font for all Quicken 2015 screens was way too tiny to read (the replaced PC was WIN7 with less video resolution). The upgrade to 2017 resolved the text font for the program screens save the print preview mode. The kicker to this is that the printed hard copy appears to turn out fine (which surprised me); however, the print preview is not possible to the human eye (the font size is a small fraction of one point at best). Problems with the display of the Print Preview page have been reported here before. And, yes, this could well be an issue specific to your display resolution settings. Are you up-to-date on Quicken patch updates Release R 15 (or higher) is required. If you havent rebooted Windows since the installation of the latest Quicken update, please do that first and try Quicken again. Click View in the Menu Bar, then toggle the checkmark at Use large fonts on and then off a couple of times. This should jumpstart the process of redrawing your screen in accordance with your version of Windows and your screen configuration. Go to the Windows Desktop and check the Compatibility tab settings in your Quicken Desktop program icon: With Quicken closed, right-click the icon, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab. Windows 7, 8.1: Check Disable display scaling on high DPI settings. Scaling performed by: and select Application Be sure to uncheck the Run this program in compatibility mode for older Windows version setting. Awesome UKR, cant thank you enough Glad to hear that this issue has been resolved.
